Lovely Aunty Lil
Created by Jennifer 13 minutes ago
I will always remember Aunty Lil as a wonderfully warm person with a twinkle in her eye.
She had a real sense of fun and I can picture her now, throwing her head back and laughing that familiar laugh that made you delighted to be in her company. I loved her so much because she always made you feel welcome and was interested in what you had to say and would always have something clever and interesting to contribute. She was very wise but with a youthful spirit. She reminded me so much of Nan.
I remember her and Uncle Brian's beautiful, warm and welcoming home. Happy times spent with all the family, having a sing song in the front room, with Dad on the guitar and everyone joining in. She made an unforgettable Blackcurrant cheesecake and had the most amazing carpet!! These are the little things that stay with you!! We loved going to Aunty Lil's.
They say that you don't necessarily remember things people said to you, but you never forget how they made you feel. This is so true of Aunty Lil. She made us feel special, happy and loved.
With much love to Aunty Phyllis, Judith, Bernard, Una, Simon and all the family.
Goodnight God bless and thank you Aunty Lil.
